WREN is delighted to announce that the Middle Treworder Solar Farm community fund is once again open for applications, with over £10,000 available.

The fund supports grass roots community and voluntary groups in the parishes of Wadebridge, St Kew, St Mabyn and Egloshayle, with funding available for projects that will provide services or opportunities for disadvantaged people or enhance the social, cultural or community life of these parishes.

The fund opened on 1st July and the closing date for applications is 13th September 2019.

Awards made last year included £2,000 to Camel Community Supported Agriculture towards the costs of their move to Treraven Farm, £1,000 to Wadebridge Carnival, £960 to Wadebridge and District Camera Club towards the cost of their 70th Anniversary public photography exhibition, and nine others.

There is no maximum or minimum size of grants, but the award committee is keen for the funding to be spread out to as many groups as possible. If you applied to the fund in previous years, you may apply again in 2019, whether you were successful or not last time.
