Middle Treworder Fund awards £16,000

After another year in which local community organisations and projects suffered from the impacts of covid-19, the Middle Treworder Community Fund administered by WREN has awarded nearly £16,000 to charities and projects in Wadebridge town, and St Kew, St Mabyn and Egloshayle parishes.

Wadebridge Cricket Club received £10,000 for installing renewable technologies and water saving for the Club House. The Bowmen of Wadebridge received £2,187 for their archery outreach project and five other projects were also awarded funds. For the full list, see our community funds web page.

£2,268 remains in the fund for future years.

AGM and Community Fund Open Session - 28 September
It's the annual general meeting of WREN next Thursday 28th September 2023 at 7pm at the John Betjeman Centre, Southern Way, Wadebridge.
