WREN took a stand at the Royal Cornwall Show, on the “Wadebridge Street”, and as it turned out, found ourselves surrounded by architects, accountants and solicitors.

WREN is a Dementia Friend, one of the first enterprises in Wadebridge to become so.

Awards totalling almost £10,000 from the Pengelly wind turbine community fund have been made to 19 voluntary and community groups in St Breock and Wadebridge, including Loaves and Fishes Community Help Café, Wadebridge Carnival and Wadebridge Memory Café Association.

£1,000 was up for grabs in WREN’s LED bulb free prize draw, funded by the Hawkey family from their solar PV installation at The Olde House in Chapel Amble, and there was a fantastic response from individuals and businesses entering.

We’d like to congratulate Leonie McGregor and Sam Angwin who have been appointed to job-share the new WREN operations assistant position.
